FROM THE GATEWAY HOTEL, KOLKATA.................1

                  PASSIONATE  PURNIMA

"Kolkata is very safe for North East Indian boys and girls" asserts Purnima Barua - the Hostess at the BUZZ Restaurant at the Gateway Kolkata, located at E M By Pass.

This Assamese girl is also the heroine of this restaurant.

"I love working here very much. My co-workers are very helpful and supportive" quipped Purnima while explaining me that the Taj Group of Hotels is very empathic towards North East Indian boys and girls.

Her father owns a tea garden at Assam - mother is a BJP Panchayat councillor.

Purnima is very prompt and proactive at work. Her infectious smile, flawless guest connect and unflagging patience is worth emulating. As a Hostess of a busy restaurant, she always maintains a cheerful disposition. She also demonstrates remarkable self-discipline.

"I am very fond of Kolkata cuisine and Bengali sweets. I have started liking the cafeteria food also, nowadays." says Purnima, who holds two Diplomas in Aviation. Since June of last year, she is working in this hotel.

She has good habit of sending money to her two younger brothers .Watching cricket and football is her hobby.

"Yes, you are right. She is a good girl" opined Subhdeep Sen, Human Resources Manager of this hotel when I praised Purnima in front of him in the restaurant, while we were signing off from the eatery.

I am happy for Purnima. She enjoys her job as a hostess. Very much.
