FROM RADISSON HYDERABAD,HITECH CITY....1

"THIS HOTEL IS MY SECOND HOME"

"I do not miss my family at all. This hotel is my second home. I am far away from my family in Nepal, nevertheless the seniors in Front Office are so caring. I will go back to write my examination in Shimla, and then come back and join this hotel itself " says Nepal born Shubham Gautam (19), a third year Hotel Management student in APG Shimla University, from Radisson Hyderabad, Hitec City.

Though still a student when he joined in Nov2014, Shubham could impress the guests of the hotel in a short span of time. "He is a hardworking person; at the same time, he is a smart worker also" says Arun Karthik, Duty manager, Radisson Hyderabad, Hitec City.

Sample his guest centricity : Joseph Rutledge from USA was staying in this hotel in the month of November 2014. He was in need of a second hand scooter as he was a long staying guest (he stayed in this hotel for a month ). He approached Shubham for guidance; in turn he was guided to the OLX team; but, nothing materialized. After checking out, Joseph had to extend his stay for 3 more days in Hyderabad. He came back to the hotel . "I am coming back to your hotel again. Pl help me" Joseph requested. He came back; checked in; stayed happily for the rest of the days. While checking out, Joseph whispered in his ears:"Shubham, you are a good boy. Thanks for all your help. Because of you I am inspired to visit Nepal. Next time, when I come to India, I will visit your hometown".

For Shubham this happens to be his happiest moment  in this hotel. I am not surprised at all, he has been nominated as the Best Employee for the month of Jan 2015.In the third month of his service as a trainee in concierge, he could lap up this title. Great job indeed.

When asked whether he could adjust to the food of Hyderabad, he chuckled.”In the initial days, it was difficult; but now I enjoy the Idlis and Sambar. Oh ! God, the food is different here" says Shubham.

His dad runs a  transportation business, mother is a teacher in a Government school in Nepal.  His elder sister is  Srushti, a second year student of nursing.

Playing cricket, making new friends, and travelling are his hobbies.
