LIONS OF LEMON TREE..... 8

 THIRST FOR LEARNING

P Santosh Kumar (23) is very particular that he is given weekly off only on Mondays. Not that he wants to visit Siva temple that day. Instead, he will be there to help his father, who happens to be a small vegetable vendor in Amberpet. He will be there with his dad in the "Sabji Mandi" held on all Mondays near his home.

"He services 22 rooms a day effortlessly. He has a thirst for learning" informs Buddhadeb Das, Housekeeping Supervisor in Redfox, at Lemon Tree Hotel, in Hyderabad.

Santosh has not completed even one year with Redfox.  However, his deeds had caught an eye of the HR department. In the first three months, Santosh was deputed in the Kitchen Stewarding Area. His spectacular performance brought him to the HK department in the public area; soon he was asked to work in the Guest Room Service area. Every week, three to four times, his name pops up either in the Trip advisor or in the GSTS(Guest Service Tracking System) cards duly filled up by the guests.

Hyderabad born Santosh lives with his parents in Amberpet, along with his elder brother, his wife and two children.

Playing Caroms and Chess are his main hobbies. He is also  a Volleyball star plus a Cricket batsman too.
