Many co-workers of Chef
Siraj Khan, working in Trident
Hyderabad are not to know that he hails from a family where four members
are professional Chefs.
Odisha born Siraj Khan is presently in charge of the
banquet kitchen, at Trident Hyderabad. His father has been a Chef working in Five
Star Hotels, presently, he is 76 yrs old. Two of his brothers are also working
in Restaurants as Chefs. Rabba Khan
is working in an Indian restaurant in
Dubai, while, another brother Razack
Khan is in Riyadh, again with an
Indian restaurant. All of the, specialize in Hyderabadi cuisine is yet
another interesting point to be noted.
The trip to Dubai to orchestrate the Hyderabadi Food Festival
in the Oberoi Dubai has been a great learning experience for Siraj Khan. "It
was a 15 day food festival, but I stayed in Dubai for 18 days; I bought some
gold also for my wife, Anjum Ara Begam.
She was very happy" recalls Siraj.
2014 has been a fruitful year for Siraj. In October he
was in Oberoi gurgaon, for a ten day Hyderabadi Food Festival. In the month of
December, he flew to Dubai. The Hyderabadi Food Festival has been pitched in
the "Anantha" Indian
restaurant, in the Oberoi, Dubai.
Tenth passed Chef Siraj specializes in Hyderabadi, and
North Indian Cuisine. Since 2013, he is working in Trident, Hyderabad. Blessed
with a son Rehan Khan, who is one
and a half year old.
"In the Mughal Food Festival held recently, many
guests appreciated about the food. This has given me lot of happiness. All the Chefs
were very happy on the success of this Food Festival" says Chef Siraj
Khan.
