MAGNANIMOUS MANOHAR

Manohar Choubisa(26), Team Member in the Housekeeping dept
of this hotel had won acclaims from all quarters four years back. His presence
of mind and honesty had brought laurels to this hotel. Read on...
This
happened in October 2011. The wedding function was over. It was in room no 305,
the Bride has been staying… After two days, the bride's relatives staying in
the close by rooms had been checking out...room no 306 check out also had
happened. It was at this point Manohar had gone into room no 306, for servicing
the room for the next guest expected to check in. In this room, during the
routine check in the bed side shelf, located on the right side of the bed, by
the side of the Bible and Bhagavad Gita books, Manohar found three diamond
rings,two bracelets and two Mangal Sutras...to cut the story short, all the
jewellery, worth around rupees four lacs have been handed over to the guest. In
turn, the guest wrote a letter to the GM of the hotel expressing his gratitude
for this gesture.
Born in
Bari village, eight kms from Udaipur, Manohar, a B A graduate, had also
completed one year post graduate diploma course in hotel management from IHM
Udaipur. He is married to Meera, a
housewife. His father, a civil contractor, homemaker mother and his wife Meera
live with him, in Udaipur.
"Ever
since this incident, more awareness has been created among the team members in
the housekeeping department. We also have elevated the process to ensure that
such incidents are handled very efficiently" says Manohar.
