Multi skilled Balaji is known for his brilliance is dealing with people. Being spiritual by nature and an ardent devotee of Lord Muruga, he finds a lot of joy in escorting the guests of Meenakshi’ s Sunshine Hotel to the temples not only in Madurai, but also to the adjoining Muruga temples in Tamilnadu, like Palani and other renowned places like Rameswaram.

Let it be the famous Meenakshi temple or Tirupparakundram temple or Alagar Temple ...for the last ten years, he has been orchestrating the temple visits for the hotel guests, flawlessly and seamlessly. He does his work with unabated regularity. Promptly and proactively. He is the most sought after person by the hotel guests. He also happens to be the most eligible person on whom you can bank upon, for the temple visits.




                        

Let it be the priests, or security guards or even Nadaswaram/Tavil artists...he knows which button is to be pressed. He mingles with them joyously and lovingly. He does everything diligently.

Jocularly says Balaji, "In a month for almost twenty days, I will have to visit Meenakshi temple along with the guests. May be ten days in a month to the Tirupparakundram temple and five days on an average in a month to the Alagar temple”.

He is married to Sudha, also an employee in Meenakshi Medical Mission at Madurai. He is blessed with a daughter - Akshaya.

He is a good cook too. Avial, Vatthakulambhu and Koottu (all Tamilnadu delicacies)...Balaji can craft the same at home, masterfully. He is very fond of old Tamil Cinema Songs too.

He talks freely. He is polite and patient. By escorting the hotel guests to the temple visits, he has earned a good name to live up to. May Balaji take more and more guests from Meenakshi’s Sunshine Hotel to the temples in Tamilnadu.

Remember, Balaji had started his career at Meenakshi Medical Mission as a young photocopier boy. Today, he is a Deputy Manager. By means of his temple visits, Balaji has surely carved out a special niche for himself.
