TIME CONSCIOUS PASHA

                                      

"Oho, first fifteen days, were very difficult. I was even skeptical that this boy is very short tempered" admits S.M.Haider, The Executive Chef of Lemon Tree Premier, Hyderabad, on Pasha Uddin working in the kitchen stewarding area, an EWD. Pasha has been working here for the last nine months. While, of the Total 12 years in the hotel industry, Chef Haider has spent nine years with Lemon Tree Hotels.

But, in nine months things have changed. Today, as a Guest Service Associate, Pasha, an EWD in the Kitchen Stewarding area delivers efficaciously.

Sample this: From the vegetable receiving area, he will collect the vegetables; cleaning and stacking the same in the deep freezer is the next thing. From the grocery receiving area, collect all items and stack it item wise in a first-in -first -out method, transfer items that are required to the store in the kitchen, so that Chefs can use the same. He will be very supportive in floor washing; willingly, he will offer his services. In sign language, the Chefs in the kitchen will instruct him to get vegetables; he will be back in no time with the right vegetable in right quantity as requested. Zero defect work is what Pasha offers.

Wrestling and Volleyball are his hobbies. Plus watching movies.  

Among the siblings, one sister is normal, while one sister and a brother both are Speech and Hearing Impaired.

He always works in the morning shifts. Reaches right on time. Every day. Day after day. He is very prompt in applying for the leave much ahead. Importantly, he is very time conscious. Every day, he wants to sign off at 5 pm. That is the time his shift gets over.
