"That boy really wears good turban always. I would like to talk to him. Could you please ask him to meet me" - this request has been volleyed to a steward by a long staying guest. And the boy who wears good turban is none other than  Preet.  Not over. While leaving the hotel , Preet made it a point to see the guest off. The guest told Preet in a soft voice: "I Will never forget you"

Preet Kamal Singh Bedi(23), Asst Mgr F&B, in the ITC Gardenia, Bengaluru is the poster boy of this hotel.


Preet can connect with any guests fearlessly, and effortlessly. The  above referred guest has been seen always busy with his work. One  day Preet spoke to him about " cyclofan",made him enjoy the same and the guest was so happy having spent time for rest and relaxation.



Now,  about  Cyclofan. “Every Sunday, four guests will be invited in advance for a one hour cycle journey that starts at 8am. This eight seater cycle has a provision, wherein eight people can pedal the same. Four guests will be escorted by four employees also. After this, in the Lotus  Pavilion  the guests will have "go green breakfast" informs Preet. He was disclosing on the importance of guest connect. 

" Everyday, I used to spend one hour with this guest; we will discuss many things. The guests wanted me to spend time with him"

Remember: this guest has been staying in ITC Gardenia for 70 days.


After passing 12th, Preet opted to join the four year course on hotel management with ITC in Gurgaon. He passed out with 80 per cent marks. ITC Gardenia has been his first posting. Around a dozen butlers work under him; also he is responsible for the business in the lounge "Upper Crest". During the Happy hours (6pm to 8pm), Preet will be there with focussed attention to ensure flawless guest connect.


"Meeting with hi profile guests has been my key learning" says Preet who loves playing volley ball.
He was the school captain of the volley ball team.
