Meet Rimio Nongtdu (22), one of the load bearing pillar of the banquets department of this hotel, he is an all rounder. Let it be Bar (knows the basics)
Room Service, Restaurants, or Banquets, he performs with his heart; bites more than he can chew; gives his best shot.

The Don Bosco institute at Jowai, Meghalaya offers a six month course on Hotel Management. Rimio passed out from this place, and landed Bekal to work as a job trainee. In a short span of six months, he proved his mettle. This Shillong boy has been a member of his college football team.

"Training is what impresses me in Taj" says Rimio, who has made it a point to send 60 per cent of his total earnings to home, so that his younger brother's educational needs will be met promptly.

"I would like to work hard ; be a Professional; and I do not want to depend on anyone including my family members for anything".


Rimio can speak Khasi (the language in Shillong), Hindi and English.

His family lives in Shillong. Mother runs a Small Business, Elder brother is a Director of a Cement Company, younger brother is a student.
