"Sai Kumar is always punctual at his work. Never has he said ‘no’ to the work allotted to him says Sarita Thakur, Assistant Manager, F&B, Lemon Tree Premier Hyderabad.

26 year old D.Sai Kumar Rao got married to Sruti last month. Both had fallen in love with each other since childhood. Has been working with lemon premier since 2012 January. He is Speech and Hearing Impaired (SHI) Associate working in the F&B Department of this hotel.

Plus two passed, Andhra Pradesh born Sai Kumar is one of the load bearing pillars of the coffee shop of this hotel. He takes complete responsibility of the buffet arrangements, whether it is buffet set up or food pick up to replenishing food to cleaning the back area, he executes the same flawlessly.

"I have never seen him quarrelling with someone or getting angry on something; he is always focused at his work. After getting married, he has become more responsible", informs Sarita, who supervises Sai at work.

"I also have learnt the sign language. The best part is that today, I can communicate with anyone confidently in sign language" says Sarita with a smile.

The innate quality of this computer savvy Steward is that he is indefatigable. He stretches willingly. Instruct him to do the break shift, he is game for it; tell him to work for another two/three hours by staying back, he is ready for the same. He takes care of a section of a restaurant is one thing; he observes the kitchen order tickets from other sections also. One day, a steward in another section got busy, as the restaurant was utterly full. At that time, Sai Kumar promptly reminded the steward that he has forgotten to serve the rotis to the guests; not over. Later, he himself arranged for the pickup of rotis; also went and served the guest directly without any delay.

He has excellent relationship with everyone around him and that is his strength at workplace. Before joining Lemon Tree, he has worked as a picker in Reliance Retail, donned the role of a packer in a logistics company, and has been the Data Entry Operator, as an outsourced staff with the state govt.

Married to Sruti, a homemaker. She can speak, but is hearing impaired.
