FROM ITC GARDENIA,BENGALURU.......3

CHARISMATIC CHITHAR

                                          

For the Xmas, Santa Claus has been his theme; for this he used salt dough as a base, green and yellow zucchini slices, bell pepper in different shapes plus sliced tomatoes came in as an embellishment to the creative piece of Chithar Bohar (32) (See the pic).
                                  
                                        


 It is nothing new for him. He is a consistent contributor. The foodies who visit the ITC Gardenia as well as the room guests have appreciated his work in embarrassingly superlative language. Come 2015, he will delight the guests with a tree in Cubbon park,also a peacock sitting on the tree  (related theme as the restaurant is known as Cubbon Pavilion) ITC Gardenia,Bengaluru . 

For the "nativity scene" which he has created for the Xmas, (see pic below) he has spent 48 hours of complete focussed creativity. This is placed just at the entrance of the Cubbon Pavilion Restaurant.

                                     

Trichy born Chithar did his 3 year IHM course in Trichy, 2 years master in Tourism Management in Kamaraj University and one year culinary arts course with American Hotel and Motel Association.

Drawing, Painting, Chocolate work, Butter Sculpture, Salt Dough art, Veg/Fruit carving, Plate presentation to gum paste work, he is equally adept in every art.

Has won gold/silver/bronze awards in the competitions held nationally by South India Culinary Association in 2002, 2007 and 2012.

Though he is presently married to the kitchen, he is finally getting married to Muthupriya,  BSC Biotechnology student in May 2015.
