OUTSTANDING OUTBOUND

                             

"We started at 6.30 am from the hotel and reached the wine yard at Nasik by 12.00 noon. We had lot of fun in the coach...singing...Anthakshari...games....on our way we had Vada Pav....journey was good…weather was on our side...rain had abated....clouds on the mountains reminded me of my college days”, articulated Sharoni Sharma on the two day Team Outbound Activity at Nasik sponsored by Westin Mumbai.

Sharoni is working as the Restaurant Manager in THE WESTIN MUMBAI GARDEN CITY, Goregaon, East Mumbai. She is deputed at PREGO, where the artistic flavors of Italy come to life inside this culinary art house. The Westin Guests can enjoy a lively show kitchen while feasting fresh pastas, homemade breads, and delicious hand-tossed pizzas.

As many as 48 staff members(Dept Heads and all Senior Managers) including the Area General Manager Anuraag Bhatnagar participated in this two day outbound activity.(10,11 July 2014).

"Treasure Hunt has been very interesting.... thrilling.. We ran all over the wine yard here and there like kids...it reminded me of my school days....competition was at its peak...we relived our childhood totally...we really had awesome time.....".

"Can you guess what sort of an attire the people of Mars will be wearing? We created a  Mars dress...... Believe you me, I have been wearing the same....newspapers, chart papers, Battery...to ribbons were used to give shape to the dress ".

A question was bounced to us-"What changes would you like to make in yourself in the next 12 months"- a sheet of paper was given to us and we were supposed to write the answer. To be more assertive at work, be positive at all times and thirdly to be a better human being- that is what I had written"

 

"We all returned on the same day by 7 pm; everyone was so tired and was sleeping throughout the return journey to Mumbai. By around midnight, we reached the hotel. Next day, I was back to shift at 6.30am.Good fun. Memorable experience. Thoughtful outbound".
