This creative, talented Chef, having great exposure to the international restaurant scene, is trying to catapult the image of vegetarian food. Undoubtedly, he brings a refreshing approach to Indian Vegetarianism.

At The Westin Mumbai Garden City, Chef Ajay Chopra is responsible for the F&B operations of the hotel which includes PREGO, the finest Italian restaurant in Mumbai, KANGAN, which is acclaimed for its breath taking North West Frontier food, and SEASONAL TASTES, the 24 hour multi cuisine restaurant and a huge banqueting operations.

Chef Ajay has been instrumental in crafting a rich and diverse menu incorporating signature SuperFood elements. Remember: SuperFoods are foods rich in antioxidants and phytonutrients.

Chef Ajay began his career with Oberoi (Shimla, New Delhi), later moved to J.W Marriott in Mumbai. After about a ten year stint in India, providence took him to London. Here, he was the Executive Head Chef of the acclaimed Mint Leaf Chain of restaurants, which is the benchmark in modern and sophisticated Indian Dining. Believe you me, during his culinary trial in the United Kingdom, Chef Ajay has been voted one of the eight best Indian Chefs of London.

This 37 year old maverick Chef is often seen hosting food shows on the silver screen. A gifted Stage Performer, Photographer, Singer all rolled into one. Married to Amrita Rebecca Chopra. Blessed with two sons. Ashish and Akshat.
